Website Rules

1. General Rules

  1. No abuse or exploitation. Do not abuse bugs, glitches, exploits, unintended mechanics, or vulnerabilities on the website.
  2. No attempts to bypass restrictions. Do not attempt to bypass bans, mutes, account restrictions, filters, rate limits, or other security measures.
  3. No unauthorized access. Attempting to access another user's account, private data, staff tools, databases, or other restricted areas is strictly prohibited.
  4. No malicious activity. Malware, phishing, scams, malicious links, credential theft, and similar activities are prohibited.
  5. Do not impersonate others. You may not impersonate staff members, content creators, other players, or other individuals in a misleading manner.
  6. No spam. Excessive messages, repeated content, advertisements, or other forms of disruptive spam are prohibited.
  7. No inappropriate content. Content that is illegal, excessively violent, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for the community is not allowed.
  8. Follow staff instructions. Staff decisions and instructions must be followed. If you disagree with a decision, use the appropriate appeal or support system rather than disrupting the community.
  9. Protect your account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Never share your password or authentication information with others.
  10. Do not manipulate the website. Attempts to intentionally damage, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the website or its services are prohibited.
  11. Use common sense. Not every possible form of misconduct can be listed. Actions that clearly circumvent the purpose of these rules may still result in moderation.

2. Profile Banner Rules

If the website allows you to upload a banner to your profile, the following rules apply:

  1. No NSFW content. Sexual, pornographic, sexually suggestive, or fetish-related content is prohibited.
  2. No gore. Extremely graphic violence, disturbing imagery, or excessive depictions of blood and injuries are not allowed.
  3. No hate content. Banners may not contain hate symbols, extremist propaganda, or content targeting people based on protected characteristics.
  4. No illegal content. Do not upload content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities.
  5. No harassment. Banners may not be used to insult, threaten, target, or harass another user.
  6. No impersonation. Do not create banners designed to falsely appear as official staff, server, or partner branding.
  7. No advertising. Advertising external servers, communities, products, or services is not allowed unless explicitly authorized.
  8. No shock content. Content intentionally designed to disgust, frighten, or disturb other users is prohibited.
  9. Respect copyrights. Do not upload copyrighted material that you do not have permission to use where such use would violate applicable rights.
  10. Appropriate for the community. When in doubt, use a banner that is suitable for a general Minecraft gaming community.

Staff may remove a banner that violates these rules without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in restrictions on the profile or website account.

3. Holy-TV Rules

Holy-TV is the server's video-sharing platform. All uploaded videos and associated content must follow these rules.

Content

  1. No NSFW content. Pornography, explicit sexual content, or sexually explicit material is prohibited.
  2. No extreme gore. Videos containing excessively graphic violence, real-world gore, or disturbing footage are not allowed.
  3. No hate speech or extremist content. Content promoting hatred, extremist ideology, or violence against groups or individuals is prohibited.
  4. No dangerous or illegal content. Do not upload content that promotes illegal activities, serious real-world harm, or dangerous challenges.
  5. No harassment. Videos may not be used to target, threaten, humiliate, or repeatedly harass another person.
  6. No doxxing or private information. Never publish someone's private information without their permission.
  7. No malicious content. Videos may not contain malware, phishing attempts, malicious downloads, or links intended to compromise viewers.
  8. No scams. Fraudulent giveaways, fake promotions, deceptive offers, and similar scams are prohibited.
  9. No unauthorized advertising. Advertising competing servers, communities, or commercial services requires permission.
  10. No misleading content. Titles, thumbnails, and descriptions must not intentionally deceive viewers about the video's content.

Videos, Titles & Thumbnails

  1. Titles must be appropriate. Titles may not contain excessive profanity, sexual content, hate speech, or deliberately misleading claims.
  2. Thumbnails must follow the same rules. A thumbnail is subject to the same content restrictions as a video.
  3. No clickbait designed to deceive. Creative titles are allowed, but they must accurately represent the video.
  4. No inappropriate Minecraft content. Content that violates the server's rules while being presented as server gameplay may also be moderated.
  5. Respect other players. Recording someone does not give you permission to expose their private information or use the video to harass them.

Copyright

  1. Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload videos containing copyrighted music, footage, images, or other material in a way that infringes the rights of others.
  2. Do not re-upload other people's content. Re-uploading videos from YouTube or other platforms without meaningful permission or authorization is prohibited.
  3. Give appropriate credit. When required by the applicable license or permission, credit the original creator.

Platform Abuse

  1. No spam uploads. Do not upload large amounts of repetitive, empty, or low-effort content to flood Holy-TV.
  2. No view manipulation. Do not use bots, automated tools, fake accounts, or other methods to artificially increase views, likes, comments, or other statistics.
  3. No platform manipulation. Do not exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to manipulate video statistics, recommendations, rankings, or other features.
  4. No malicious links. Links in descriptions or comments must not lead to malware, phishing pages, scams, or other harmful content.

Staff may remove videos, thumbnails, comments, or accounts that violate these rules. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent restriction from Holy-TV.

4. Applications & Unban Appeals

The application and appeal system exists for serious and genuine requests. Do not submit applications or appeals simply because you want to test the system.

General Rules

  1. Be truthful. Provide honest and accurate information.
  2. Take responsibility. If you broke a rule, explain what happened and acknowledge your actions.
  3. Be serious. Jokes, troll applications, memes, fake stories, and deliberately unserious requests are prohibited.
  4. No spam. Do not submit multiple applications or appeals for the same issue without a valid reason.
  5. Do not manipulate staff. Threats, guilt-tripping, emotional manipulation, or attempts to pressure staff into accepting a request are prohibited.
  6. Do not impersonate others. Only submit an application or appeal for yourself unless staff explicitly permits otherwise.
  7. Do not falsify evidence. Screenshots, videos, messages, or other evidence must not be edited or fabricated in a misleading way.

AI & Copy-Pasted Content

  1. Do not copy applications or appeals from the Internet. Your answers must describe your own situation and experience.
  2. Do not submit AI-generated answers. Applications and unban appeals must be written in your own words and reflect your own thoughts.
  3. Do not copy another person's application. Submitting someone else's answers as your own is prohibited.
  4. Do not use templates as your actual answer. General formatting guidance is fine, but the substance of your request must be personal and original.
  5. Answer the questions yourself. Staff may reject an application or appeal if the answers appear copied, AI-generated, intentionally generic, or otherwise not genuine.

The purpose of this rule is not to punish users for having good grammar. Staff should evaluate whether the request appears genuine and relevant rather than simply rejecting a request because it is well-written.

Unban Appeals

  1. Explain the situation clearly. State what happened and why you believe your punishment should be reconsidered.
  2. Do not lie about your punishment. Attempting to hide or falsify relevant information may result in the appeal being denied.
  3. Explain what you would do differently. A useful appeal should demonstrate that you understand the issue and can avoid repeating it.
  4. Do not demand an unban. An appeal is a request for reconsideration, not a requirement for staff to reverse a punishment.
  5. Respect the decision. If an appeal is denied, do not immediately submit repeated appeals with the same information.

5. Enforcement

  • Staff may remove content, restrict accounts, reject applications, deny appeals, or issue other punishments when these rules are violated.
  • The severity of a punishment may depend on the seriousness of the violation, the user's history, and whether the violation was intentional.
  • Attempting to circumvent a punishment may result in additional punishment.
  • Rules apply to both direct violations and deliberate attempts to circumvent them.
  • Staff may take action against behavior that is clearly harmful to the community even if it is not explicitly described by a specific rule.
  • These rules may be updated when necessary. Continuing to use the website and its services after an update means you are expected to follow the current version of the rules.
